All cycle costs are package costs and include all the ultrasound scans, anaesthetic charges, doctor's fees and post-op recovery where applicable.
At the time of egg collection, if there are no eggs or failed fertilisation, we refund £ 300 for cancellation of embryo transfer
Pregnancy scans are charged separately.
Medication costs are charged separately and can vary from patient to patient. Patients are requested to buy the drugs from the pharmacy themselves

What are my chances of success from IVF?

Success rates of IVF treatment cycles depend on certain variables, which include the age of the woman,  number of eggs produced after stimulating the ovaries with fertility drugs, quality of the semen, number of good quality resulting embryos, and the number of transferred embryos.

IVF success rates are higher for women under 35. The success rates of in vitro fertilization can be increased by combining IVF with other treatment methods. IVF is often performed with ICSI to increase the success rates of fertilization during the IVF process.

IVF or In Vitro Fertilisation, refers to the most widely spread method of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). The Latin term 'in vitro' means anything that is cultivated outside a living organism - literally“in a glass.” Early biological experiments involving the cultivation of tissues outside their living organisms, were carried out in glass containers such as test tubes, petri dishes and beakers, hence the term “test tube baby.” 

During in vitro fertilisation, collected eggs are fertilized outside the womb and resulting embryos are transferred into the uterus of the woman. In the case of IVF with Egg Donation, the eggs of the donor are used for fertilization outside of the womb, and then the resulting embryo is transferred into the uterus of the female recipient.

What is IVF with ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection)?

The test-tube fertilization process has been replaced with ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) because of its proven success rates.

ICSI is the process by which one sperm is inserted into one egg, resulting in one embryo.

ICSI is more effective than IVF with a higher success rate because the sperm is injected directly into the cytoplasm of the egg stimulating the fertilization process.

ICSI requires only one sperm making it a successful treatment method for males with a low sperm count or poor quality sperm.
